We had an amazing stay at this historic hacienda, surrounded by beautiful landscapes. Our spacious room had unique antique furniture and a large bathroom, with plenty of hot water. the warm welcome from the staff made us feel at home, and the museum tour with Arturo Leyton was a fascinating highlight. We enjoyed breakfast with eggs cooked to order, and the delicious cheese and cream from their own dairy. We also loved the beautiful family dining room and salon with a painted ceiling and antique furniture.
The other meals we had at the hotel were mainly dull and overpriced.

Immersion in history in a magical rural setting. We were lucky to spend Christmas among owners for a personalized pescatarian dining experience and learn about history of the area. The large antique filled rooms, especially family dining room, were a highlight. The tour provided us a peak into the three families that owned this hacienda since 1562. Delicious cheese and cream produced in their own dairy.
The hotel was quite far and the restaurant limited. Breakfast options were lacking and internet only available in one location.

This historic hacienda is a magical setting, with antique furniture, paintings, and spacious rooms. the family dining room and main salon are magnificent, with a painted ceiling, antiques, and a blazing log fire. the hotel staff is warm and welcoming. I enjoyed a fascinating tour with Arturo Leyton, the museum curator, who is knowledgeable and passionate. the hotel offers exclusive amenities, including a private garden and sun terrace. the delicious cheese and cream produced in their own dairy were a highlight.
The hotel's location is far from the town and requires a 30-40 minute taxi ride. Breakfast was lackluster, but the eggs were cooked to order.
